Sonic The Hedgehog Arcadia

Sonic The Hedgehog Arcadia is a game being made by me, and that's right, it's a 8-bit styled game, specifcally the Master System/Game Gear. (i took inspiration from Sonic Moon if you know that game, really well made btw) It stars Sonic, Tails, and a new ally as the main playable characters for now, and they each have their own unique movesets. Mainly Sonic, lol.

Story

This game takes place after Sonic 3. A couple of months have passed since that game's events as Eggman has been busy fixing up the Launch Base, so Sonic and Tails have been in a peaceful landscape for this period of time. However, on a peaceful, warm sunny day, Badniks suddenly start showing up again everywhere! The duo, realizing that Eggman has came back, immediately start destroying Badniks, but end up falling into a Warp Ring, teleporting them to this new, undiscovered island named Sevii Island. (if you played a certain pokemon game, this will sound familiar. sorry, but there is no pokemon lol.) It seems nice at first, but it quickly takes a turn as Eggman shows up, and starts releasing Badniks everywhere, along with animal capsules! The Chaos Emeralds seem to have taken their new home here after Sonic 3, and they realize they need the Emeralds to stop the Doctor himself! However, a new ally from a completely different dimension has shown up and is here to help Sonic and Tails, as well as get back to their own dimension.

Z to Jump 

(while midair) Hold Z to Drop-Dash

Up + Z to Peel-out

(while midair) X to perform an Air-Dash, functions similarly to the Homing Attack, except it cannot lock to enemies.
